Sunday Fundays: Adventure Sails
Join us for an exciting adventure sail as we chart a course to a variety of destinations! We'll meet at ACSC, sail to a set location for a waterside lunch, and then sail back together. The type of boats used will vary depending on the destination.
ACSC will provide sailboats, life vests, optional wetsuits, a dry bag to keep your lunch dry, and a safety boat with a certified sailing instructor on board.
What to Bring:
Participants must have completed a course with ACSC within the past two years or pass a boat checkout. The checkout includes a written knowledge test and an on-water skills assessment.
Please note: Sunday Fundays are weather-permitting. We sail in conditions with winds under 15 mph.

- A change of dry clothes
- A packed lunch

🌊 SATURDAY Funday: Sand Castle Spectator Sail 🏰
Set sail with us for a breezy front-row view of the Alameda Sand Castle Contest! The contest runs from 9 AM to 1 PM, and we’ll be cruising the shoreline between 12 PM and 1 PM to soak in all the sandy creativity.
As we admire the castles from the water, folks on shore will be eyeing our little armada of dinghies and wondering why they’re not out there too. Let’s show ‘em how fun it is to be part of ACSC—maybe we’ll even recruit a few new sailors just by looking awesome!
