Sunday Funday Adventures are a perfect way for anyone—kids, teens, adults, families, and friends—to enjoy an active, adventurous day on the water! All Adventures begin at the ACSC site with a group safety briefing and float plan meeting before heading out on the SF Bay with a certified instructor. Sail in a variety of boats—Sail Cubes, FJs, 420s, Fevas, or Lasers—toward exciting destinations for short sails or full-day trips with a waterside lunch. Skippers must have recent dinghy sailing experience or complete a brief boat checkout. Crew of any experience level are welcome. Every adventure is designed to be fun, safe, and full of exploration, teamwork, and the thrill of sailing on San Francisco Bay!

What to Bring:

Closed-toe shoes
A change of dry clothes
A packed lunch for full-day sails

ACSC will provide sailboats, life vests, optional wetsuits, a dry bag to keep your lunch dry, and a safety boat with a certified sailing instructor on board.

Requirements to Participate:

Skippers must have completed a course with ACSC within the past two years or pass a boat checkout.
- The checkout includes a written knowledge test and an on-water skills assessment.
Crew members must have dinghy sailing experience.

Please note: Sunday Fundays are weather-permitting. We sail in conditions with winds under 15 mph.

Boat selection depends on the destination.
Available boats include: Sail Cubes, FJs, 420s, Fevas, and Lasers.
