You're Invited! Summer Sailstice Sailing BBQ June 22nd

Q: What is Summer Sailstice?
A: It's the global, annual celebration of sailing held on the weekend nearest the summer solstice!

ALL are welcome to this FREE community event-- past students and campers, family members and friends, & anyone who wants to try sailing!

Saturday,  June 22nd
11 AM - 2 PM

Alameda Community Sailing Center
190 Central Ave.
Alameda, CA 94501

ACSC is located near the Encinal Boat Ramp, down a long narrow driveway on the right side of Encinal High School. Our banner is posted on the fence at the front of the driveway on Central Avenue. Once in the parking lot, ACSC is in the back right corner past Stacked Adventures and O'Kalani Outriggers. We are diagonally across the parking lot from the boat ramp.

LET'S GO SAILING!

ACSC's dinghy fleet will be available for camp and course graduates and skilled sailors to take boats out for a spin, AND for the newbies to ride along with an experienced skipper.

To go sailing, be sure to bring:
1. Closed-toe shoes that can get wet/sandy— you need to get at least knee-deep in the water while launching and landing your boat.
2. Towel and change of clothes
3. Sun Protection: SPF/Sunglasses/Hat
4. Your sense of adventure!
